Kolibri, a thoughtfully converted traditional vineyard cottage on three floors with a private swimming pool and terraced gardens. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this elegant retreat offers ample space and privacy for your stay, at any time of year.

With its elevated position above the vines, you are spoilt for choice about where to spend your time. Terraces, balconies, gardens, the poolside (and even the bath) provide a variety of places to enjoy the commanding view and soak up the vineyard scenery.

On the ground floor, we designed a full-size kitchen to serve a variety of locations with ease. Take breakfast on the front terrace under the walnut tree, lunch near the pool and dine in the converted barrel vaulted wine cellar, adding atmosphere to any meal time experience. The ground floor has a separate WC and a second access direct to the side terrace and pool.

Up the internal staircase and into the sitting room, with its feature tile wall, a large sofa, chairs and a small log burner. From this floor you can access a small open balcony with chairs at the front of the house and a covered terrace to the side, with furniture and access to the upper garden beyond. On the inside, solid wood doors open to the second bedroom, with its handmade twin beds, a fully tiled shower room and hand basin and a separate WC.

Climb the staircase to the very top of the house and discover the comfortable master bedroom under the eaves with a large double bed and a bathtub with a view.

This is a house for all seasons. Floor to ceiling windows flood the interior with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere, and when summer gives way to autumn and winter, underfloor heating and a wood burner guarantee cosy nights in.

Kolibri (Hungarian for hummingbird) was completed in December 2023. Adorned with bespoke, antique furniture and private artwork, this latest gem in our collection has been awarded 4 stars, ensuring you will have a comfortable and memorable stay.
