The Józsi cottage, is a “Hansel & Gretel” inspired romantic tiny home for two. It’s filled with bespoke pieces, hand painted furniture and Transylvanian wooden trim – just a few of Catherine’s trademark touches. 

Enter through the timber porch, past the writing desk and into the small living room and you’re greeted by a centrepiece – a wood-burning stove – and two very comfortable armchairs, inviting cosy fireside conversations or time with a book. Down two steps into the converted wine cellar and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare food inspired by local produce and goodies from our legendary vineyard hamper.

Climb the wooden stairs into a spacious open-plan room with a comfortable king size bed and a bathroom to delight with a locally crafted wine-barrel shower and a free standing cast iron roll-top bath. Seriously romantic!

Enjoy one of the best views of the Vértes hills from your bedroom balcony or look out across fields from the bathside window.

Józsi’s is surrounded by trees and a small garden. On the wooden deck is an outdoor brick grill and patio furniture, ideal for enjoying al fresco dining under hanging lights, in the evening.
