Józsi’s Cottage (65m2) designed as the original ‘love nest’, is also a prefect bolt-hole for one. Looks are deceiving from it’s small stature, Jozsi’s cottage has a surprisingly roomy upstairs with a king bed and the largest bathroom on the entire estate.
Downstairs you will find all your need, a cute entrance hall with desk and chair, two arm chairs, a large inviting log fire, dining table and chairs. The well equipped kitchen, once the original wine cellar, is filled with locally made pottery and has all the essentials you need.
The bathroom features a refurbished roll-top cast iron bath, a Catherine’s Cottages signature wine barrel shower, bespoke hand crafted wash basins, Transilvanian wooden decorations and a bean bag, yes a bean bag! There is a small balcony to sip your coffee from in the morning, and a wooden deck with a homemade grill, pocket-size garden, deck chairs and fire pit – all surrounded by vines.
