RATES

If you turn to each cottage page you will see the rates listed, we sadly do not take credit cards as yet, guests can settle up on departure or by bank transfer in advance. We have published rates until end of 2012, if you wish to book after this date please email us. Banking details are supplied when your booking is confirmed.

DEPOSITS/CANCELATIONS

• We will require a 1 night deposit when making a reservation for a 2–5 night reservation, cancellations to be made 7 days in advance.
• Weekly stays require 2 night deposit with a 3 week cancellation policy.
• Longer stays than a week, all deposit and cancellation information will be supplied at the time of booking.

TWO NIGHT MINIMUM STAY

As preparing a cottage (after all this is not just a room you are booking) is a lot of work we require a two night stay. We occasionally accept a one night booking, but this depends on availability and the price is x1.5 the regular rate. The exception is The Sipos Haz which is a 3 night minimum.

BABY COTS/CHILDREN’S BEDS

• We can provide baby cots, children’s beds (up to 6 yrs old), linens are free of charge.
• We also have a high chair, baby bath and a stroller. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require any of these items.

CHECK IN and OUT TIMES

15.00hrs is check in time and 11.00hrs is check out time.

CATERING

Catherine’s Cottages are self catering, however, knowing that buying, loading, unloading and then having to prepare meals in kitchen that is not your own, can be rather tiresome for some – we have come up with a few helpful options to make life easier for you. There are however plenty of local restaurants and cellars to eat and taste wines. We require 24 hours notice if you require a meal to be prepared, we are small and aim to please, however we have limited services.

Breakfast Hampers.

We can provide a basket of goodies, including Karcsi’s freshly baked bread and Ibi’s homemade jam, made from our very own fruit. As well as farm fresh eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit juice, milk, butter, tomatoes and seasonal fruit from the garden. The Breakfast Hampers cost a minimum of 8,000ft and are enough for two people for two days, if you are a more than two we adjust accordingly, and we can also top items as well, which are be charged separatly, if a breakfast hamper is required for one morning only, the cost is 6,000ft.

Evening Meals

We have a selection of homemade pre-prepared dishes to choose from, a selection of these will be supplied at the time of booking that can be prepared by you in the cottage. We can provide rice, cous cous or pasta, together with a selection of vegetables from the garden or local market, with a bottle of wine. These can be placed in your cottage the day you arrive. The cost of a meal with wine is 12,500ft for two people. 24 hours notice is required. A bottle of local wine is 1,500ft.

Light Lunch

Bio homemade tomato soup in a jar and freshly baked bread is available. 6,000ft.

DOGS

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

WiFi ETC

None of Catherine’s Cottages have a television, DVD, or radio, but we do have fabulous free Wifi (code will be supplied at your cottage), iPods and iPod speakers.

DIRECTIONS

These you will need and we will supply at the time of booking, as there are no sign posts in the village to the cottages. I always say, all the best places don’t need sign posts.
